Bishop's Stortford College will be welcoming a familiar face as the new Head of Pre-Prep in September 2014.

Belinda Callow has worked at Bishop's Stortford College for the past 11 years, and is currently a member of the Senior Management team and Head of Shell (Years 3 and 4) a department she has led for three years. Before this, she was Head of Lower Shell, where she began to form her close links with Pre-Prep.

Previously, at Pear Tree Mead School, Belinda taught Years 1 and 2, as well as being the SEN Coordinator for the whole school.

Belinda immerses herself in College life, participating in numerous school trips involving all Prep children. She is an enthusiastic member of the cross-country running and tennis clubs and has sung with the College Choral Choir. She was a member of the Bromley Youth Orchestra and Band, where she played the flute. An experienced walker, she has a particular love of the Cumbrian Mountains.

Taking a brief break from teaching following eight years that led to a Deputy Headship and teaching in Australia, Belinda explored her keen interest in all forms of art and became part of the production team who set up the Pilot Episode and Series One of the ITV drama, 'Foyle's War'.
