Salem says Goodbye to 97 graduatesParents had come from 46 nations worldwide to Salem on 6th June to celebrate their children as 'well-rounded individuals' at the Zehntscheuer. Headmaster Bernd Westermeyer, who therefore held his speech in English, pointed to the worldwide digital revolution, a challenge that the students will have to meet. The IT future will only be bearable, if one wants to shape it. For this task Salem students with their 'very special education' are highly qualified. Director of Studies Brigitte Mergenthaler-Walter came up with a very presentable result in figures. The average mark was 2,4. 4 stundets finished with an exact 1,0, 27 had a mark with a 1 in front. It was reserved toHead of Upper School Ken Lander to honor students with special merits with the 'Groe Auszeichnung' (Great Award). For the good exam results gain further value since in Salem students are expected to engage in extracurricular fields such as the Salem Serivces, the School Council, Sports and the fine arts.
