Godolphin Alumna Excels at Lacrosse World Championship

Published on isbi School News dated Tuesday 11th of August 2015

Hannah Bray, who was Deputy Head Girl at Godolphin School, Salisbury, in 2013/2014, represented England at the recent Lacrosse World Championships held in Edinburgh. Team England won a bronze medal, beating Australia in the semi-final, and placing after Canada who won gold and USA who won silver. Hannah has only recently been invited to join the England Academy and her hard work and long hours of training have certainly paid off as she received a special mention at the tournament for her “strength and speed”. Another Godolphin “old girl” was also busy at the tournament – Storm Trentham, previously lacrosse coach at Godolphin, is the coach of the Wales Lacrosse Team. Congratulations to both the Godolphin OGs.
