Year 8 pupils at St Benedict’s School in Ealing, together with their Year Head Mr Pat McCarthy, presented Sue Davies from the charity Lepra with a cheque for a massive £1363.25 on Tuesday 13th October. To raise the money, the pupils participated in a ‘Fun work-out’ at the end of the summer term, completing well over 4000 star jumps and other exercises during the session. Lepra is a UK registered international charity focusing on people suffering from leprosy, who find themselves trapped by disease, poverty and prejudice and it helps them to improve their health, lives and livelihoods.
