New Head for Northwood College Junior School

Northwood College is pleased to announce that Mrs Hina Thaker has recently been appointed as the new Head of the Junior School. Mrs Thaker has been a teacher at Northwood College Junior School for the past ten years and has taught various year groups including Reception, Year 1 and Year 3. She has previously been responsible for the Foundation stage and Key Stage 1 and more recently has been Head of Curriculum and Acting Head.She is married with a teenage son and lives in Stanmore. In her spare time she likes to relax whilst practicing yoga, painting and spending time with her family.
Jacqualyn Pain, Head Mistress of Northwood College said: 'We are delighted that Hina has accepted this position. She has a vast amount of knowledge and experience and knows our girls extremely well. I am looking forward to working with her to raise the profile of our Junior School, and in particular our excellent Early Years provision, within the local community'.
