More than Just a School

Moor Park is an IAPS, Catholic, co-educational boarding and day school accepting children from 3 months to 13 years of age. Children often start in the Tick Tock Nursery at Moor Park which provides a secure environment for our very youngest children. They then transfer to the Lower School Nursery and Kindergarten in the term that they turn 3. Children are then carefully prepared to start more formal schooling by a team of well-qualifed and caring start . Our Early Years provision was graded as Outstanding by ISI in 2014. All our children make full use of the 85 acres of stunning grounds but Moor Park is not just about getting muddy and exploring. Our children gain entry to the full range of schools nationally and have been awarded an extraordinary number of scholarships in recent years. These include academic and extra-curricular awards to some of the top senior schools in the country. It is also worth saying that Moor Park is emphatically not simply an academic hothouse and is a school where children of all abilities thrive. All of this is underpinned by a carefully maintained culture of kindness which ensures that all children are valued for who they are. Passionate teachers and an average class size of around 14 also make a difference. Not every child can be good at everything but every child can be good at something and finding something for every child is something that we take seriously. Moor Park’s facilities and, more importantly, enthusiastic and dedicated staff ensure that the school is well placed to get the best out of every child.
