Abbey Gate College in Saighton near Chester has enjoyed another successful year of GCSE results. Amongst the highest achievers were Theo Tollet with six A*s and four As, Daniel Meadows gaining eight A*s, one A and one B as well as Thomas Fairclough who achieved five A*s, four As and one B. Other pupils who obtained fantastic results were Holly Gray with three A*s, five As and one B and James Thompson with three A*s, four As and three Bs. All will continue their A level studies at the College and will be aiming to emulate the recent success of the College Sixth Form students at A level. Headmistress Tracy Pollard said: “I am once again delighted with the results of our pupils who have worked hard to achieve these results. We aim for all our children to reach their academic and personal potential in exams and are pleased that some have surpassed our expectations in today’s results. “I congratulate all our Year 11 pupils on their achievements and wish them the very best for their future.”
