Sunninghill Prep School celebrates National Poetry Day

The children at Sunninghill Prep School used the theme of Harvest to inspire them to produce a wonderful array of poems to celebrate National Poetry Day. Children in both Pre Prep and the Prep departments of the school wrote their own poem and these were entered into a whole school competition.

Mrs Fernley, Head of English, commented 'There were wonderfully creative entries across the school.'

Rachel Saddler, the school's new full time librarian, chose the top three poems from each class. These were published in the school's weekly newsletter 'Hermes'.
