LRGS nominated for sports award

Lancaster Royal Grammar school has been nominated for the State School of the Year category at the 2011 Aviva and Daily Telegraph School Sport Matters Awards.

Representatives from the school will be attending the award ceremony at Twickenham Stadium on Thursday 3 November. The awards will be presented by a range of prestigious sports personalities, including badminton player Gail Emms MBE, athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton and England international rugby player Ugo Monye.
