A Rich History

Founded in 1958 by Christian missionaries from various US and Canadian mission organizations, TCIS has served international students in the Daejeon area and boarding students from all over Korea and beyond for over 60 years.
TCIS relocated in 2012 to a brand new, purpose built garden campus in the Technovalley area of Daejeon nearby the many science research and development institutes headquartered in the center of South Korea.
The TCIS Foundation supports TCIS as a Three Programme IB World School. TCIS is one of less than ten schools in the whole world which offers all of the following: K-12 education in the PYP, MYP, and DP, Residence Life options for Grades 6-12 and Christian foundation.
Students of all faiths are welcome at TCIS.
