Online Safety workshop for children in Years 3-6

Published by Kingswood Preparatory School on Friday 4th of February 2022

A workshop led by SWGfL informed children in Years 3 to 6 all about online safety. It was a fun session, but most importantly, was full of great tips to help us stay safe online in an age-appropriate way.

Some comments from pupils afterwards included:

"The E-safety talk was really fun but also helpful! It helped me realise how dangerous the internet can be and how to stay safe." Pippa

"We learnt how to tell if something on the internet is fake." Tom

"My favourite part was learning about why we should use an app at a certain age. At the end we even got special prize for good behaviour." Aston

"I found out that you can make videos with computer-generated human beings." Jack

"E-safety means safety online. This doesn’t mean that we can’t go onto the internet, it means that we just have to be aware and know that not everything we see is true." Freya

Thank you to Ed from SWGfL for making the sessions so informative.
