Head of Denstone College, Lotte Tulloch describes the show as ‘Brilliant, heartwarming and humbling TV’.
Andy Tattersall, Marketing Manager at Denstone College comments “The visit saw the two teams meet, have a tour around Denstone College and play a game of cricket on an absolutely beautiful day. Whilst the game was important, the visit from Freddie Flintoff and his team also was a great reminder that no matter the background, sport should be accessible for all and no matter what stereotypes surround sports like cricket, it is still very much a game for all. Denstone College and The Prep at Denstone College follow a similar ethos, aiming to inspire pupils into being the kind of people who are able to make a difference in the world”
You can watch Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 5th July.
