New Headmaster

We are delighted to announce that the Governors have appointed Jonathon Anderson to succeed Rob Morse when he steps down as Headmaster at the end of the Spring term 2023.

Jonathon is presently Headmaster of Clayesmore Prep School in Dorset. Prior to this he was Deputy Head, Director of Studies and Boarding Housemaster at Westbourne House and his earlier experience includes the role of Assistant Boarding Housemaster at Swanbourne House. He is a mathematics teacher and a keen sportsman.

After school at Glenalmond College, he graduated from Exeter University and he is currently engaged in obtaining a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management.

Jonathon is married to Hester and, as he says, ‘they are very much a team’. Hester has wide experience as a teacher and of boarding and I am sure you will find them a very warm, caring and capable couple. They have two children, Annabel aged 12 and William aged 8, as well as two Labradors.
