We enjoyed a wonderful evening of gourmet delights this week at the annual House MasterChef.

Representatives of each house had to produce a three-course meal using only the ingredients stipulated on the list. The quality of the entries was extremely high, and this meant that every detail counted. It all came down to the correct seasoning, temperature of food, presentation... Euddogwy House took first place thanks to Amog M-B, Ashely T and Oliver M. Dyfrig came second and Teilo came third.

To give you some idea of the quality of the cooking, just look at the winning menu!

Starter: Lamb and mint kofta, served with a rosemary flatbread and warm tomato chutney

Main: Penne pasta with roasted butternut squash, Per Las and oregano, garnished with beetroot crisps

Dessert: Pear and honey filo stacked tart, served with cinnamon cream and a honey drizzle.

Thanks to everyone who took part.
