Trip to the City of Birmingham

On Wednesday, Fifth Form students attending the 'Marmite More Able' seminars literally and figuratively saw the City of Birmingham in a different light, visiting the Museum and Art Gallery, Library and Think Tank.

Asked to make notes and sketch what they saw, students searched for ‘Something fascinating’ and ‘Something surprising’. Their choices came from exhibits as contrasting as the architecture and diverse as the peoples of the city – from Pre-Raphaelite Art and posters campaigning for racial justice, to a multimedia history of clubbing and display of Shakespeare through Bollywood.
