Celebration of Christmas Winchester

Celebration of Christmas - Our Chapel Choir headed to Winchester on Thursday to support The Hampshire Medical Find in a Celebration of Christmas at the Hospital of St. Cross.

Following a thorough rehearsal in the afternoon to become accustomed to the beautiful acoustic and the stunning surroundings of the church - and a pizza supper! - the choir were ready to perform their musical treats.

The service began with an impressive unaccompanied solo of O come, O come Emmanuel by the Head Chorister and the choir then led a candlelit procession into the church.

Christmas music filled the air throughout the evening and was interspersed with readings and prayers. Congregational carols also formed part of the service and everyone enjoyed uniting in song in support of an amazing charity.
