Cultures Connect 2023

We were very excited to be hosting Cultures Connect 2023 on Saturday, as it has been several years since this event has taken place due to the pandemic. The show did not disappoint, and we saw a range of students performing songs in English, Chinese, and Korean.

Any performer who was a little nervous about getting back on the stage received the loveliest support and cheering from the jam-packed audience, who were treated to rock bands, light shows and some light humour from the compères. The students also made a compilation video, giving the audience their own thoughts on what it meant to be connected culturally, and there was a midway quiz which tested the audience’s knowledge on all things cultural. A delightful evening with a lovely atmosphere.
