Gala Concert Hits All The Right Notes

The Gala Concert hit all the right notes as musicians from across the school took to the stage to delight the audience with their dedication and musical talent.

Our Lent Term Gala Concert certainly did not disappoint. With a wonderful mixture of music from our Chamber Choir, Junior Choir, Davenies Stingers, Rock Band, Jazz Band, and Junior and Senior Handbells, the standard was so high. Boys serenaded with solos, duets, trios and quartets from singers, pianists, violinists, cellists, guitarists, trumpet players, and saxophonists. Every musical genre was excellently executed, through classical, choral, folk, musical theatre, film, pop, jazz and blues. A wonderful evening was shared by all to showcase the dedication and talent that these boys have. A special thank you goes to our wonderful instrumental teachers who work tirelessly to achieve the best results for the boys. Well done to all!
