At Eltham College, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for both our students and staff body. As part of this commitment, we launched our Teaching Insight Programme in 2022 to empower individuals from historically under-represented backgrounds to pursue a career in teaching.

Now in its second year, the programme continues to attract talented individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people. Through the Teaching Insight Programme, we provide participants with the necessary training, support and opportunities to build a successful career in teaching.

The programme is designed for individuals who are considering a career in teaching, have a strong academic background and are keen to learn from experienced teachers at Eltham College. Successful applicants have the opportunity to observe lessons, participate in workshops and receive mentoring from experienced teachers.

We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for our programme participants and are keen to help them navigate the challenges of entering the teaching profession. Our aim is to attract and retain talented individuals from under-represented backgrounds and to build a more diverse and inclusive teaching community.
