Published by St Swithun's School on Tuesday 4th of April 2023

St Swithun’s ended the spring term with an afternoon of fundraising activities to support their four school charities - HART, Planned Parenthood, Kids for Kids and the Bramston Bursary Fund. The event took place on Thursday afternoon from 2.30pm-4pm, with the whole school coming together to support the causes.

The event featured a variety of stalls organized by the students, who had been working hard to put together an exciting line up. The event saw a range of activities, including a "Just Dance" student vs. teacher competition, a soak the teacher stall, a clothing sale, a rodeo bull, a Krispy Kreme stall, and a range of fairground stalls. The students were thrilled to display their hard work and were excited to see their teachers and peers support them.

The event was a resounding success, with students and staff alike enthusiastically participating in the activities and donating generously to the causes which provide vital work that helps to create a better future for communities all over the world.

Speaking about the event, Rev. Paul Wallington from St Swithun’s said: "We are thrilled to see the overwhelming support from our staff and students towards our school charities. The students have put in tremendous effort into organising this event, and we couldn't be prouder of their dedication towards making a positive impact.”

Over the course of the event, the school community raised £2660.
