Doing All The Good You Can

At Kingswood, we celebrate our wonderful children as they strive so often to make a difference.

Congratulations to Scottie in Year 4, who has raised over £240 for UNICEF in aid of the Sudan appeal. Rather than birthday presents, Scottie asked her friends and family to donate to UNICEF, with the money raised helping to buy enough emergency kits for six families, or over 800 books for school children and pencils for four schools. An amazing achievement, Scottie!

Similarly, Dylan in Year 6 and Rufus in Year 4, completed the RUHX Walk of Life for the Cancer and Rheumatology units at Bath RUH. They completed the ten mile walk from Bradford on Avon to Bath as part of a team of five, raising over £500.

We are proud to have created an environment at Kingswood within which our students feel empowered to make a difference outside of our community. Thank you to all who support our pupils and we look forward to hearing about many more charitable endeavours in the near future.
