A Midsummer Nights Dream Performance

Published by Ryde School with Upper Chine on Sunday 2nd of July 2023

Across two spectacular nights on the 29th and 30th of June, our Year 10- Upper Sixth students put on an incredible show. A Midsummer Night's Dream was a great success for our amazing senior performing arts students.

The production took place in the Jenny Kerry Performing Arts Centre, our 250 seat fully equipped modern performance space that opened in 2022 and that has been thoroughly enjoyed by pupils, staff and parents. This great new addition means that productions such as A Midsummer's Night Dream can be seen and enjoyed by so many.

The students' many rehearsals must have paid off when they heard the audience roaring with cheer for everyone who took part. Many of the audience also took to social media to express their praise for the show, such as, “It was truly a wonderful production. Well done everyone, we really enjoyed it”.

Well done to the entire team who helped put on the show, what a success it was! We look forward to many more shows to come in the future.
