Day Nurseries has selected Queen's Kindergarten of Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate as a Top 20 Nursery in Yorkshire and The Humber.
One of only three named in North Yorkshire, Karen Kilkenny, Head of Queen’s Kindergarten said, “We’re delighted to have won the award and to have received so many positive reviews from our parents. We pride ourselves on the excellent care we offer the children and the positive parent and child relationships which are formed with our practitioners. Our dedicated practitioners are outstanding in the support they give their key children in all areas of their development. The children settle quickly into our setting and enjoy the exciting experiences that are provided for them.”
Parents Score Queen's Kindergarten 10 out of 10
We are so thankful to every parent who has left a 5 star review for us. Here is our most recent review:
“Our little girl has settled really well in the Kindergarten. She loves the members of staff and they always give lots of attention and cuddles. It's lovely seeing that she seeks comfort from them if she is tired or upset. There's always a variety of food and she gets to try different things. It's great being able to see on tapestry during the day how she is getting on and what she has been up to. She has so much to tell us when she gets home and is always happy and chatty after a day in Kindergarten!” – Father of the child.
The EYFS team work incredibly hard to give our Kindergarten children the best start to their school life. Queen's Kindergarten classrooms have been transformed for plastic toys to natural items for children to be creative and imaginative in their play. Children can play in mud kitchens, create their own playdough and can explore Queen Ethelburga's on-site forest school. Child's play is serious work, indoors and outdoors.
