Golfing Success In The Swift Schools Golf Tour

Three of our golfers travelled to Aldeburgh GC in Suffolk over the weekend to play in the Swifts Schools Golf Tour 54 hole stroke play tournament. The standard of competition was very high with over half of the field being of two handicap or below.

Our team of three players ended the competition in a very pleasing 3rd place in the team competition. The highlight of the weekend by far was that our number one player James M. won the individual trophy, he won by two shots and posting a score of 8 for his three rounds. Having dropped just one shot in the Monday morning round, he had a particularly impressive final round that afternoon, coming in at level par with just one bogey and one birdie on his card.
