Go Kart Club’s Victory!

Claremont Fan Court Prep School entered two go karts into the Seaford College Goblins event at the end of half term, where we raced against many other schools from the South-East. The team, who had made our new go kart from scratch this term, were able to test their skills in drag races, slaloms and then a knockout race event.

The children named our go karts, ‘We Race Any Car’ and ‘Hugglesmobile’ (the pitfalls of democracy!) and we were kindly sponsored by Savills Estate agents. In the events, our highlight was winning the drag race event, with the quickest car in a straight line out of the 23 karts in the competition. A most impressive result in only our second year at the event and against much more experienced teams.
