County Athletics Championships

A couple of weeks ago, our Year 6-8 athletes competed at the SAPSA County Athletics Championships, and produced some incredible results!
Nathan won both the 100m and 200m final, breaking his own school record. Tom, Jack, Oscar and Nathan won the 4x100m relay. Well done also to Oscar, who ran a tough 1500m and finished 2nd, and to Max who finished 2nd in the high jump, breaking another school record!
Another high jump school record was broken by Delila. Congratulations also to Ella for a 2nd place in the 200m, and the girls relay team consisting of Ella, Eloise, Delilah and Bella, who also gained 2nd place!
A total of 9 athletes have qualified for the National Finals which take place this Monday. We wish them the best of luck!
