Oliver's Musical Date In London Town

Not many people are invited to see the RPO rehearse so it was a real privilege for Oliver to be there

The young cellist then attended the evening concert with his mother.

Not only that Year 8 pupil Oliver has this week had a coaching session with Sophia Rahman, who is the Artistic Director of the Whittington Festival in Shropshire.

He was invited to take part in a masterclass, side by side concert and workshop.

Ms Rahman has recorded piano concertos with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Scottish Ensemble and has made around forty chamber music discs. What an incredible experience Oliver, well done!
