Brunel Beckons For Star Student

After landing remarkable results in his A-Levels, Strathallan student Kevin Meng received news that would change his future.

Despite holding multiple offers, after receiving better-than-expected results Kevin decided to hold out to see if he could land his dream degree.

Gaining three A*’s and an A in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Biology, Kevin was beyond thrilled when he was accepted onto his degree of Medicine at Brunel University London.

Reflecting on his achievement, Kevin said, "I'm genuinely thrilled about getting my place at Brunel. I didn’t think I’d get some of these grades. I’ve wanted to be a Doctor for as long as I can remember. To finally get my place was a moment of pure happiness.”

Kevin joined Strathallan in 2019 and has been an integral part of the School’s community, frequently playing in the school orchestra. Part of Ruthven House, Kevin spoke of the highly supportive community around him.

"I've made great friends here, and the teachers have always been helpful," said Kevin.
