Year 1 Learn About Owls During Their Trip To Herrings Green Farm!

Year 1s have been learning about owls as part of their 'Enchanted Woods' topic and today they enjoyed a wonderful visit to Herrings Green Farm.   

During the day they were lucky to see so many different types of owls! They had the opportunity to fly a barn owl, and to also see the largest of all the owls,The Great Grey Owl, in flying action. 

The pupils have also adopted a Tawny Owl called Simba whom they met, and were able to hold during their trip to the farm.
