St Gabriel's Celebrates Outstanding A Level Results

Published by St Gabriel's on Thursday 19th of September 2024

St Gabriel's is thrilled to announce another year of exceptional A Level results for our Year 13 pupils.

These results reflect the hard work and dedication of the students and will allow them to pursue exciting opportunities in the next stages of their education.

Principal, Ricki Smith, praised the success of the students, saying, "At a time when schools and education are firmly in political view, it is heartening to see such a broad range of outstanding outcomes for these talented young people. These grades represent much more than just letters — they reflect the hard work, resilience and commitment of our pupils and the pathways now open to them."

We are particularly proud of Steph and Lucia, who have both secured top grades and will be reading International Relations at Durham and Bath universities, respectively. Zofia’s remarkable achievement of 3A* and 2 A grades has earned her a place to study Law at Durham. However, the success of all our Year 13 pupils deserves celebration, with over 70% of A Levels awarded at A*- B grade.

Amongst the standout departmental results, 100% of French grades were awarded A* and 80% of English Literature grades achieved A*/A. These fantastic outcomes underscore the dedication of both the students and staff at St Gabriel's.

Congratulations to our Year 13 pupils, their families, and all the teachers who have supported them on their journey. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for these talented young individuals.
