Hurst Named LTA Tennis Sussex School of the Year

Hurst is proud to announce that it has been awarded School of the Year at the LTA Tennis Sussex Awards in recognition of its’ outstanding tennis programme. The award celebrates Hurst’s commitment to tennis through the games programme, break-time clinics, 1-2-1 coaching, ‘Hurst Futures’ initiatives, and partnerships with Hurst Education Trust schools (HET Over the Net). Hurst has a thriving parents’ tennis programme, family open days, and padel tennis opportunities, contributing to the superb racquet sport on offer at the College.

The awards ceremony took place on Sunday 9 February at the Amex Stadium in Brighton, where Hurst was honoured for its efforts in making tennis accessible and enjoyable for all students. By delivering high-quality curriculum-based and co-curricular opportunities, as well as developing strong links with LTA-accredited coaches and venues, Hurst continues to inspire the next generation of tennis players.
