Fame Takes Centre Stage at Bootham

Bootham School’s talented students wowed audiences over three incredible nights with their high-energy production of Fame the Musical. The show, filled with dazzling choreography, powerful vocals, and vibrant performances, showcased the dedication and creativity of Bootham’s young performers.
From iconic musical numbers to emotionally charged moments, the production brought the 1980s classic to life with real flair. The cast and crew, supported by Bootham’s outstanding drama and music departments, delivered a performance that will be remembered for years to come.
Director and Head of Performing Arts Andrew Quarrell said, “We are immensely proud of our students. Their passion, hard work, and talent made this a truly special production.”
Bootham School continues to foster a love for the arts, inspiring students to express themselves and shine on stage. Plans are already underwear for the summer production of Peter Pan.
