Ellesmere Student is National Schools Singles Champion!

A huge congratulations to Charlie, who claimed 1st place in the National Schools Singles Finals at the recent Independent Schools Golf Association (ISGA) Tournament, played at Slaley Hall Golf Club in Northumberland over two days — a phenomenal performance that reflects his skill, focus and determination. 

Charlie has been a prominent player in the Golf Programme over the last few years and we at Ellesmere are delighted to see him achieve such success both on and off the course, alongside his academic programme.

We’re equally proud of our School Golf Team, consisting of Charlie, Matthew and Shinil who finished 5th overall in the Team event in what was a highly competitive field. Their collective efforts have now placed Ellesmere 3rd in the UK Independent School Golf rankings, a testament to the strength of our programme and the quality and consistency of our players.

These successes are a reflection of the dedication and excellence fostered within the Ellesmere College Golf Academy, where students continue to grow as athletes and individuals through elite coaching, perseverance and teamwork, alongside their academic programmes.
