Hurst showcased outstanding climbing talent at the highly competitive White Spider Senior School Climbing Competition, held in London. Competing against the top 25 schools in the country, Hurst secured an impressive 3rd place out of 25 schools, earning a total of 588 points.

The event, which brought together 219 talented young climbers, saw Hurstfield a team of seven students—six participants and one reserve. Their collective effort and determination were evident across all three climbing disciplines: bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing.

A standout performance came from Harry P, who demonstrated exceptional skill and consistency by finishing 3rd place overall in all three categories. His achievement contributed significantly to Hurst’s podium finish and further solidified the school’s reputation in competitive climbing.

The White Spider Climbing Competition remains one of the most prestigious school climbing events, inviting only the best senior school teams to participate. Hurstpierpoint College not only performed exceptionally but also played a key role in supporting the event as an official sponsor.
