Royal Ascot Schools Art Competition 2025
Published by The Marist School on Thursday 29th of May 2025
Earlier this year Royal Ascot ran their Schools Art Competition for pupils aged 4-14. This competition has been running since 2018!
Students were invited to create a piece of artwork with the chance of winning cash prizes of £1,000 for their school as well as Amazon vouchers to spend on themselves.
Once all the entries were submitted, the public were invited to vote for their favourite images. The winners were announced in early May.
This years competition saw a record 1,710 entries across 35 schools and two Marist pupils secured first and second in the age 13 category!
We would like to congratulate Isla D’Souza (blue jockey) for achieving first place and Bella Bruce (yellow jockey) for achieving second place.
They created outstanding pieces of artwork and we are exceptionally proud of them.
Winners and runners up were invited to the Victoria Cup Raceday on 10 May to enjoy a celebratory-prize giving tea.
Their artwork will now be displayed in the Ascot Heath Tunnel. This has allowed for a beautiful and colourful walkway to be created for Royal Ascot visitors and residents.
