Munich International Junior Regatta

At the Munich International Junior Regatta, we were proud to watch Emily compete with, and against, some of the top juniors in Europe for the second year running. This two-day regatta provides elite young rowers with the opportunity to race in a number of different boat types and crew combinations, providing amazing race experience against some top competitors.

On Saturday, Emily’s 4x raced to a superb gold medal, just a few hours after her 2x had put in a very mature performance to win the B final. On Sunday, a different line-up raced to an impressive fourth place in a rapid quads field, behind Germany and Poland.

A big well done to Emily for an exciting weekend of racing, and thanks to GBRT for asking Mr Boddy to look after the women’s sculling squad for the weekend!
