Honours Presentations
Published by The Royal School Dungannon on Thursday 1st of May 2025
At the end of last term an honours assembly was held to present honours in Debating, Public Speaking, Music, Hockey and Rugby.
Honours are awarded to pupils based on them setting high standards in terms of commitment including regular attendance, participation, skill level and service in their chosen activity throughout their school career.
Major Honours are awarded to pupils in Years 12 – 14 and Minor Honours are only awarded to Sixth Form pupils.
Honourable mentions are given to pupils who have made a significant contribution in their field but just failed to meet the criteria for minor honours or who would have been awarded honours except for their age (i.e. in Years 10 & 11).
