Exceptional ESB Results Across the School!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in their recent English Speaking Board (ESB) examinations — a nationally recognised qualification that develops and assesses vital communication skills, including public speaking, discussion, and presentation.

Year 12 Success

100% of our Year 12 students achieved Merit or above in their Grade 8 ESB qualifications, with an impressive 83% securing Distinction!
This advanced-level qualification is equivalent to A-Level standard and awards a minimum of 27 UCAS points, contributing significantly to university applications. It reflects students’ ability to speak confidently, structure arguments, and engage audiences — skills that are essential for academic and professional success.

Year 10 Success

Congratulations to all our Year 10 students on their amazing results in the Grade 5 ESB exams!
We’re proud to announce that 100% of students achieved either Merit, Merit Plus, or Distinction — with over a quarter gaining Distinction, the highest possible grade!

Grade 5 is a key milestone in the ESB pathway, focusing on clear communication, expressive reading, and thoughtful responses to questions. Our students showed incredible effort and determination, and these results are a true reflection of their commitment.
