We are delighted to announce that our Head, Emma Bell, has been appointed as a Trustee on the Executive Council of the Independent Schools Association (ISA).

Starting September 2025, Emma will serve a three-year term, contributing to key decisions on finance, accreditation, and the strategic direction of the ISA. With nearly 800 members, the ISA plays a pivotal role in the independent education sector, and Emma’s appointment is a testament to her leadership and dedication.

Emma is looking forward to promoting single-sex education, representing St James and advocating for diversity and inclusion; values that lie at the heart of our schools.
