Prepare for an exciting journey as monsters dive into the magical human land of ‘Kids Inc!’ With infectious energy, these brave kids turn the tables on their favourite monsters. The stage radiates with imagination, offering a thrilling twist on an all time childhood favourite. This is a performance you won’t want to miss – after all, “We scare because we care!”

In preparation for Dance Live!, our pupils put in an incredible amount of hard work both into the demanding extra-curricular rehearsal schedule and behind the scenes. For pupils who may not want to be in the limelight, being part of the tech crew provides an opportunity to still be part of the team – we were thrilled to see their work recognised with a Creative Achievement Award for use of LED screen.

For their Dance Live! heat, senior pupils took to the Guildhall stage in February to perform their piece Masked. The exaggerated clown costumes and make-up were used to great effect to conceal emotions on the surface, as our dancers explored uncertainty, hidden feelings and society’s fear of the unknown.

The team received outstanding feedback from the judging panel and won two awards on the night: Fellowship and Creative Achievement – Costume.

Well done to everyone involved. Just rewards for the incredible hard work and creativity that was put into the performance
