Great Day in the One Day Film School Workshop

Our Year 9 girls had a great day on Monday when they went off timetable to take part in the One Day Film School workshop.

This is a practical filmmaking workshop that has run in UK schools since 2004, enabling over 90,000 young people to make their first films! Our girls had an amazing day letting their imaginations run riot and their film making skills improved in leaps and bounds across the sessions.

After a morning of sessions in the history of film, choreography, camera techniques, screenwriting and more - the girls got together in small groups to create their own masterpieces. All the films were premiered at the end of the day in the RBH with Oscars awarded by a judging panel which included teachers and leaders along with the One Day Film School.
