Harvest at St James!

This week, the St James Preparatory School community came together to celebrate Harvest with a joyful and heartfelt assembly led by Father Rob. He spoke to the pupils about the importance and joy of giving back to those who are less fortunate.

The assembly was filled with uplifting moments, including beautiful songs sung in unison by pupils, staff, and parents, capturing the warmth and unity of our school community.

We were also honored to welcome Mikkel Juel Iversen, founder of the inspiring charity Under One Sky. Mikkel shared with pupils the impactful work his charity is doing to support our homeless friends, and how the contributions from St James are already making a real difference.

This Harvest, our community has generously donated essential items such as coats, gloves, scarves, toiletries, soups, and more to support Under One Sky’s work. It has been a pleasure to witness our pupils engage with such compassion and enthusiasm, truly embracing the values of empathy, service, and kindness.

We are incredibly proud of how our pupils are learning the power of giving and how even small acts of kindness can have a big impact.
