Reception Class Experience a Pumpkin Exploration!

Our Reception class dove into the ultimate Halloween sensory experience with a pumpkin exploration!

They scooped, squished, and counted seeds, as well as learning about how pumpkins grow, the class then ran a spooky science experiment to see if pumpkins sink or float when put in water. A fantastic mix of messy fun, fine motor skill development, and a great introduction to density and buoyancy.

We loved watching the pupils' curiosity and creativity.
