Cobham Hall Signs Friendship Agreement with Ukrainian School

Published by Cobham Hall on Friday 23rd of May 2025

Last week, Cobham Hall proudly entered into a new international partnership by signing a friendship agreement with Koriukivka Lyceum, a school in Ukraine. The agreement marks the beginning of a meaningful and mutually supportive connection between our two schools communities.

The initiative is more than a symbolic gesture; it represents a commitment to fostering empathy, understanding and solidarity during times of global challenge. The partnership will open doors to share learning opportunities, cultural exchange,  and dialogue that will enrich students on both sides.

The journey towards this partnership began earlier this year, when Cobham Hall had the honour of welcoming Mr Sviatoslav Yurash, the youngest member of the Ukrainian Parliament, to the school. He was joined by representatives from the Kent County Council, whose continued support has been vital in bringing this collaboration to life.

This new friendship underscores Cobham Hall's dedication to global citizenship and its ongoing support for the Ukrainian community.  As the partnership grows, we look forward to the positive impact it will have on our students' global awareness and personal growth.

We are excited for what lies ahead and are proud to stand alongside our friends at Koriukivka Lyceum.
