Year 11 Photography Project

Our Year 11 Floreat pupils plunged themselves into a fascinating project that blends creativity, history and technical skills: the Farringtons Then and Now Photography Project.

This ambitious endeavour challenged pupils to explore the changing face of Farrington School. Working with archive photographs, they used Adobe Photoshop to seamlessly blend historic images of the school with their own modern photographs.

Technical Skills: They mastered careful alignment and blending techniques in Photoshop,

Historical Reflection: The resulting visuals tell layered stories that reflect on the passage of time, memory and continuity at Farringtons.

The composites beautifully capture how the school has both changed and stayed the same over the years. We are incedibly proud of the thought and effort they put into creating these powerful visual narratives!
