Chigwell School Named a Top 10 Independent School for Academic Excellence in East Anglia 2026

We are thrilled to announce that Chigwell School has been recognised
as a 'Top 10 Independent Secondary School for Academic Excellence,
2026' in East Anglia in this year's Sunday Times Parent Power Schools
Guide.

The Sunday Times has just published the 33rd edition of its Parent Power Guide 2026, listing the highest-achieving national and regional schools of the year based on criteria such as their GCSE and A-Level results.

We are proud that we have been recognised as one of the Top 10 Independent Schools, further strengthening our reputation.

This follows last year's success in The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025, where we were crowned Independent Secondary School of the Year for East Anglia and ranked among the Top 50 co-educational independent schools in the UK. The Parent Power Guide, widely regarded as the leading authority on school performance, praised Chigwell for its exceptional academic outcomes, holistic education, and nearly 400-year tradition of nurturing both happiness and achievement.
