Published by St Margaret's School on Wednesday 1st of April 2026
From holding a tarantula to designing a Mars biosphere, and culminating in a STEM Fair that has doubled in size, STEM Week at St Margaret’s School invites every pupil to explore, experiment, and uncover how science, technology, engineering, and maths shape the world around them.
Designed for both STEM enthusiasts and those still discovering the everyday relevance of science, this week is a highlight of the school calendar, sparking curiosity, creativity and discovery.
‘STEM Week helps students see that science isn’t just equations or facts,” says Mr Browne, Head of Science: “It applies to the real world, to the things they love and enjoy. Our goal is to spark curiosity and help pupils appreciate how STEM influences their daily lives.”
