Pupils Commended at Chipping Norton Music Festival

Published by Kingham Hill School on Tuesday 14th of April 2026

Pupils have been celebrating outstanding success following their recent performances at the Chipping Norton Music Festival.

Fresh from completing their London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) exams, every Kingham Hill performer achieved either a Commended or Honours grade. Many pupils also received special adjudicator certificates in recognition of particularly strong performances.

The festival, which has been promoting music-making and performing since 1904, provided pupils with a valuable opportunity to perform in a supportive and encouraging environment, while also benefiting from professional feedback to help refine their skills and build confidence on stage.

Among the standout achievements was Ethan, who was invited to perform at the festival’s final concert. He was also awarded a prestigious cup for the most promising under-14 performer, continuing Kingham Hill’s proud tradition of success at the event.

The results mark another strong year for Kingham Hill’s performers, and we now look forward to seeing them take to the stage again at our annual Speech and Drama Showcase in June.
