DofE at QE gives students the chance to step outside their comfort zone 🌿

Open to Years 10–12, students can take on Bronze, Silver or Gold. Year 10 complete Bronze with a two-day expedition and one overnight camp, while Years 11 and 12 progress to Silver and Gold — building up to four days, three nights, and routes across remote terrain far from roads or easy access.

This year, our Gold group are setting off from Grassington, heading to How Stean Gorge, across to Kirkby Malzeard, and finishing at Fountains Abbey — a real adventure through some of Yorkshire’s best landscapes.

We welcome students of all abilities and backgrounds. For some, it is their first experience of the outdoors. For others, it sparks a passion that could shape their future.
