Sir Iain Duncan Smith Visit

We were delighted to welcome The Rt Hon Sir Iain Duncan Smith, MP for Chingford and Woodford Green, to WGPS.

He spoke to our pupils about his role as a Member of Parliament, offering a fascinating insight into his responsibilities and explaining how Parliament works.

Our pupils impressed him with their knowledge and thoughtful questions. Following his visit, a group of students have been invited to meet him at Parliament, a wonderful opportunity and one we are very excited about.

An Old Red was also part of Sir Iain Duncan Smith’s team, so we were excited to catch up and hear all their news since leaving WGPS.

Of course, our guests couldn’t leave without visiting our amazing PTA Bake-Off competition and cake sale.
